The Candonga variety is grown exclusively in Basilicata, in the plain of Metaponto where it has found the ideal habitat to become a unique strawberry. The plants are planted in October and start producing fruit from January to June.
In our jam, the sweet and intense taste of ripe Candonga strawberries marries with the sour note of lemon and is perfect in combination with fresh cheeses, yoghurt and for an excellent cheesecake.
Ingredients: Candonga strawberries, sugar, lemon juice.
Fruit used: 95 g per 100 g of finished product.
Total sugars: 55 g per 100 g of finished product.
Fruit Origin: Italy (Basilicata)
